Gold Coast City Council's Surfers Paradise Foreshore Redevelopment was completed in early April, months ahead of the target completion date of June 2011.

The $25 million rejuvenation covers the area of foreshore from Laycock Street to ViewAvenue, with the exception of the area in front of the Soul development. This area of works is being funded and carried out by the development’s owner, Juniper.
